We like skincare with a little less going on. Eckco® brings together Kawakawa, Mānuka, Calendula and a considered collection of plant oils in waterless balms and oils made for everyday routines. We do not say our products reduce inflammation, treat eczema, clear rashes or heal skin. Those are claims we cannot make.

Think rich botanical balms, lightweight face oils and minimal blends where the ingredients, textures and natural colours are part of the experience. Fragrance-free and without added fillers, it’s skincare that keeps the focus on the botanicals.

Sourcing & Production

Where does your Kawakawa come from?

Our Kawakawa (Piper excelsum) comes from privately grown plants that are left to grow wild. We hand-pick the leaves, wash them, then prepare them in small batches for infusion.

What is the Triple Infusion?

Our Triple Infusion brings together Kawakawa, Mānuka and Calendula in a botanical oil infusion. It is used in selected Eckco balms and oils.

Are all Eckco products made with the same ingredients?

No. Each product has its own formula. Some products use the Kawakawa, Mānuka and Calendula Triple Infusion. Others use different plant-based ingredients. Please see each product page for the full ingredient list.

Why are your balms and oils waterless?

Our balms and oils are made without water. This means they are made from oils, waxes and infused botanicals rather than a water-based lotion or cream base.

Why do you use plant and seed oils?

We choose plant and seed oils for each formula based on their texture, feel and place in the finished product. Some Eckco products use oils such as sunflower, borage, Moringa or pomegranate seed oil. See the individual product page for its full ingredient details.
